About Jade Newman...
Founder, designer and creator of Les Sacs Magique.
Jade is originally from Bournemouth, and graduated in 2007 with a BA (Hons) degree in Costume for the Screen and Stage from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth.
She has designed costumes for two productions at the University of Kentucky in the USA, a production of 'for colored girls...' and a premiere of the play 'Weak/Side/Help'. As well as this she has worked as wardrobe mistress on a number of productions.
She decided to start making handbags as means to make a little extra money, and in February 2009 decided to establish 'Les Sacs Magique'. She is currently working full-time on producing this range of handbags, accessories and soft-furnishings, saving the world one handbag at a time!
